Travels of the Foundation to India

From July 2006, representatives of the Foundation travel to India with the purpose of getting to know the needs of the different boarding houses, orphanages and schools of the region of Khammam, in the state of Andra Pradesh where the Foundation concentrates its efforts.

One of the most emblematic projects of the Foundation has been the construction of the boarding school of Reddipalem (Sarapaka) for 100 girls. On the summer of 2007 the presentation of the pre-project from the architect of the Foundation to his Hindu homologue took place. At the start of the construction, a ceremonial act was performed with the setting of a small monolith and a commemorative plaque mentioning the Foundation as the benefactor.

On subsequent trips, the verification in situ of the projects in progress as well as the finished ones took place. Some supporting members and cooperants travelled to the different sites in order to do the said verifications.

These travels prove very enriching from the humanitarian point of view, since they emphasise the great need for help and the challenge we must face in order to be able to achieve this end. And also we count with the profound gratitude of the children, as well as of the persons who are in charge of them
